Applicability
Life Genomics AB with organization number 556993-1891 and IVO-ID VE-2016-034870 (hereinafter referred to as “LG”) provides laboratory services in the form of Harmony NIPT. These general terms and conditions apply. Harmony NIPT is a probability analysis for Trisomy 13,18 and 21, both false positive and false negative results occur at a low frequency.

  • Purchase: Purchase of Harmony NIPT from Life Genomics Sweden requires informed consent and blood sample collection at the Riga Maternity Clinic.
  • Payment: Payment of analysis is made directly to Life Genomics in advance (before sampling).
  • Cancellation: Cancellation of analysis of samples can take place until the sample arrives at Life Genomics. Cancellation can only be made through the Riga Maternity Clinic.
  • Refund: In cases where analysis results for Trisomy 13,18 and 21 cannot be reported, the client has the choice to get the money back or to take a new sample and send the new sample for analysis. A third attempt is not normally accepted, and the analysis cost is refunded. The analysis report is only communicated via the Riga Maternity Clinic.

LG’s responsibility
LG is responsible for:
a) the sample from the time it arrives at LG’s premises.
b) to perform ordered Analysis.
c) to send Test Results, to Riga Maternity Clinic.LG performs the analysis in a professional manner with qualified and competent employees. If analysis cannot be performed or a delay occurs, LG is responsible for notifying Riga Maternity Clinic.LG is under no circumstances liable for indirect damages or consequential damages. The total liability that may arise for LG towards the Client is limited to the total price paid by the Client for the analysis. The Client loses his right to make a claim for compensation if the complaint has not been made in writing without delay.

Personal data
In connection with the analysis, LG will process personal data for the purposes and on the terms set out in LG’s personal data policy

Applicable law and dispute
Swedish law shall apply to this agreement. Disputes in connection with this agreement and the parties’ other contractual relations shall be finally settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce’s Arbitration Institute for simplified proceedings with an arbitrator.
